heyyy so. i went into this movie expecting a really cute fishy romance, which it. almost was. but i had no idea there was gonna be extremely graphic, gratuitous violence, a hell of a lot of nudity and sex scenes (one dude literally fucks his wife on screen which was a lot), and a cat gets eaten on screen.
the cat thing was the most upsetting, the rest was just either really awkward or unsettling. but, yeah. i had no idea about any of that, and was kind of unnerved coming out of the film.
please be careful if you plan on seeing this movie. it’s not a bad movie, but i’ll admit i was really put off.
Yeah seriously! It was really really good, but I had a panic attack after the film because it was so stressful, and an employee had to literally hold my hand and lead me out of the theatre step by step, because I had such a bad shutdown …
hey yall ever heard of
To be fair, the R rating has been diluted to the point of uselessness.
A movie like the Shape of water that features on-screen full nudity and violence and mild gore. A movie like 80s horror or sci-fi like Aliens or The Thing that feature gore. And a movie like Sausage Party or any Seth Rogen film that features dirty jokes are al rated R yet require entirely different mindsets going into them.
the rating does not determine the genre
It’s like no one can read
Isn’t reading one of the biggest problems on this site?
It’s shit like this that makes me want to delete my blog and never come back.
The Arknthology is the anthology (or myth arc) of Universe A. This storyline plays on and advances lore, specifically that of the Arknangels: who they are, how they came to be, and how they fit into the bigger picture.
The WinterVerse (or Winter Saga) is the title for the umbrella of works revolving around the same elements as A Cry From Winter. The main premise behind The Winter Saga revolves mainly around the patients of a mysterious therapist named Dr. Ellis, and the effects that his medications have on them.
The Reality Branch (or Reality Canon) is a storyline that deals with the events occurring throughout the branches of .Reality. The main focus of this canon is the changing timelines and reality errors.
The Mayhem Compendium is a storyline which focuses on the religious aspects of the Arkn and Dekn, told through occultism, various forms of Christianity, and philosophy. In addition, this canon focuses heavily on themes of psychological torment and insanity, often leading its protagonists into a broken and beaten state.
Working as a separate, defunct series of branches from .Reality, The Timeless Narrative (or Timeless Verse) deals with a series of timelines that have been abandoned by both the Arkn and the Dekn due to the growth of an unknown element inside the core of their existence.
[Note: Due to its primary creator leaving the Mythos, nearly all of the works in this storyline has been deleted or de-canonized. However, the “Rules” established in this continuity are still regarded as canon to the Mythos.]
The Kryzjac Series is a closed-source storyline of the over arching .Reality canon. This anthology tells the story of the birth, adventures, and downfall of the Warriors of Kryzjac (a crew of interdimensional cosmonauts) using music, audio dramas, and hidden text logs on the wiki (along with a webseries ARG).
Technically a category unto itself, the Arkn Mythos Extended Universe (or Alterverse) features non-canon material that expands on (or is based on) ideas or concepts within The Arkn Mythos.
[Note: Includes some works formerly set in the Arknverse that have been de-canonized.]
The Guarded Ones (2016) [Note: This story takes place during The Guarded Ones, a vlog series from a planned closed source storyline created by DeathlyLogic. For various reasons, neither the storyline nor the vlog ever got off the ground.]
I am begging every single one of you to sign and share this petition.Patreon is introducing a new fee system that burdens patrons with fees instead of creators, creating a mass exodus of patrons who are cancelling their subscriptions to all creators, not just me.
I make my entire living on Patreon and this severely threatens my financial stability. I am a full-time student with one more semester left of school. These disgustingly greedy changes could destroy my livelihood, my finances, and could leave me unable to pay my rent, bills, and tuition. These changes could literally ruin my life. Besides, as a creator, I am more than happy to pay these fees rather than needlessly burden my Patrons.
If anyone has any suggestions for other platforms or other ways I can continue to keep the lights on, please sound off in the comments.
I am absolutely terrified and upset and beg Patreon to reconsider.
Edit: After seeing other Creators posting similar proposals, if you are a small-dollar Patron who is planning to unpledge or leave Patreon but still wants to support my work:
Without Patreon, I would not being doing YouTube content and I would not be making a decent living. That’s just the flat out truth. Over the last couple days I’ve lost dozen of Patrons. These added fees are jeopardizing my living, which is the opposite of what Patreon’s established goals are. I’ve done the research on these new policies and they are endangering creators relationships with Patrons to solve a problem of shrinkage which wasn’t a huge deal to begin with.
I’m worried that my living is in danger when I should be creating content. It fucking sucks.
Today is the only day you can share this meme. Precisely 2000 years prior to March 6th 4017. The day Squidward trapped himself in the freezer. March 6th 2017.
Anonymous asked: Hey, Nick, but have you ever done like one of those motivational sorts of posts or speeches on soundcloud or the like? Maybe just something like 'everything is going to be okay'?
I don’t have anything like that in audio form, but I can tell you that as long as you’re still breathing, you’re not out of the game. It’s never truly as bad as it feels and you’re not only strong enough to survive whatever you’re facing, you’re stronger than you realize.
The human world has changed over this decade from teaching strength and dedication to forcing a toleration and normalizing of weakness. People have forgotten what it means to have power in themselves and not be at the full mercy of a tough situation.
You are the solution to your problems. Raise your head, face the tough time, and I’ll see you again real soon on the other side, alive and well.
Every year, right around New Years’ Day, I like to do a comprehensive Tarot reading for the forthcoming year. This is the spread that I developed for this purpose. It’s a hefty one, weighing in at 26 cards, so I definitely need to set aside a good chunk of time to really let them all settle in. I record these results and pin them to my calendar, to use as a guide throughout the year.
The first twelve cards represent the twelve months, and what influences will be coming in to play during that month. Each card can represent a theme for that month, warn me of challenges ahead, or introduce a bit of fortune into my path.
Cards 13, 14, and 15 represent what influences are being carried over from the previous year – what I am holding on to from the year past. Sometimes we hold on to things we need to, other times its wise to let them go. These cards can help you make that decision.
Cards 16, 17, and 18 indicate what I will be carrying over into the next year – what I will be taking out of this current year and will be influencing the future beyond it.
Cards 19 and 20 represent what will be crossing me this year. As there are only two cards in these positions, they carry a lot of weight. They are the over-arching challenges, situations, or influences that will be crossing my path, for better or worse.
Cards 21, 22, 23 and 24 represent the themes of each season – Imbolc, Beltane, Lammas, and Samhain, respectively, and what each quarter-turn of the wheel will bring.
The final card, 25, is a keyword to carry with me throughout the year, advice or insight for the coming year.
I hope your new year is full of health, wealth, brilliance and inspiration, and that it blesses you with new adventures and dreams realized.
